I was given a Lomography kit 35mm SLR to build for my birthday, it is a bit like Airfix for a photographer.
The camera is so extremely simple it is the complete antithesis of a modern DSLR with all its modes, functions and endless opportunities to create stunning images. The Lomography Konstruktor by comparison has 2 shutter speed settings and a waste-level (top mounted) view finder.
It is early days but the return to the simplest of analogue formats has brought with it a freedom from trying to capture the perfect image. Just go out and photograph it.
